Some important changes have been made in TYPO3 within the 4.5 version tree, so, for example, some extensions working with 4.5.28 could not work with 4.5.40.

The most of extension (even declared for versions older than 5.4) are generally compatible, but problems may arise.

In such a case, check that extension works on TYPO3 4.5.40, because Ease3 is 100% compatible with TYPO3 4.5.40.
